About
Building the future of CNC programming.
Mylos is building AI software to help machine shops turn designs into parts faster.
Mission
Remove the programming bottleneck from precision manufacturing.
The problem
CAM programming is still slow, manual, and repetitive. Every part has to be planned, sequenced, programmed, and checked by someone with deep manufacturing judgment. The shops that do this well depend on expert programmers, people who are increasingly hard to find, train, and replace.
Why now
Machine shops are being asked to quote faster, deliver faster, and take on more complex parts with fewer available programmers. At the same time, AI is becoming capable enough to support real programming workflows, not just generate surface-level suggestions.
Our approach
Mylos is built to keep programmers in control.
We build with machinists, not around them. Mylos works inside the CAM systems shops already use, learns each shop's machining preferences, and adapts to the way their programmers actually work.
Every shop has its own standards: preferred tools, setup strategies, feeds and speeds, machining styles, tolerances, and ways of checking work. Mylos is designed to learn those patterns over time while keeping the human in the loop at every step.
The goal is not to replace expertise. The goal is leverage: helping skilled programmers apply their judgment across far more parts than they could by hand.
Where we are
Mylos is in development. We are building alongside a small group of early partner shops whose feedback shapes what we make next.
